This is pretty much the book for learning the Burmese script.

Virtually nothing about the Burmese script has been overlooked and it will probably be a long time before a more authoritative book is available. This book is highly recommended for anyone interested in the Burmese script but is unfortunately difficult to find in stock in the typical bookstore. If you can't find it through Amazon, we suggest calling the publisher, Center for Southeast Asian Studies at Northern Illinois University in DeKalb, Illinois.

The Burmese typeface used throughout the whole series is clean, clear and easy to read.
