This section of our web site features reviews on language books or books that feature foreign scripts and writing systems. Whenever possible, we provide a link to purchase the book being reviewed but please note that not all books can be purchased through Amazon — we indicate this by providing no link from the book title. Occasionally a book is available through another on-line vendor. When feasible, we include a link to the relevant web site within the body of the review.

We’ll continue to periodically add specific information and reviews about books to help you in the study of some of the unusual languages and scripts that we support. Our selections will generally deal with learning the language or script specifically — like grammars, primers and other reference materials.

We also have a very large, private collection of books in our library so if you’d like information about a relevant title, feel free to email us with the title and author’s name and we’ll let you know if we’re familiar with the book and what we think of it.
