Bilingual and Multilingual Texts
The structure of the Burmese script includes ascenders, descenders, subscripts, tone marks and other diacritics which must be taken into consideration when choosing point sizes and especially when mixing English text. We have chosen a design that we believe works well with English (and other Roman) typefaces of the same point size. Nevertheless, you may choose to display Burmese text at a slightly smaller or larger point size than accompanying Roman text.
