Compatibility Information
The Tibetan Language Kit for OS X is designed to support the use of Tibetan, Dzongkha or Ladakhi as a secondary script on your Macintosh. But to put it to effective use, you'll need an appropriate application. The kit alone cannot make a software application display Tibetan text properly — the original software manufacturer must include support for Apple's imaging technology for this to happen as expected.
How well your particular application will respond depends on how well the software manufacturer has implemented this imaging technology. It's just a matter of time before all software designers will include this support but until then we suggest you visit Alan Wood’s Unicode Resources web page for additional information about available applications. Many of them are available as shareware or in demo versions so you can determine for yourself whether a particular application meets your needs. You can also visit Tom Gewecke’s web site which has additional information about foreign languages under OS X (and other versions as well).
